oneVillage Foundation Initiative

We have identified the critical leverage points to address world urgent issues. oneVillage Foundation Initiative (OVI) is a comprehensive, community-based approach still in the development stages that aims to promote the rapid replication of ecologically and socially sustainable systems around the world.

A major goal of this program is maximize the potential of networks and physical communities, through the effective utilization of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in concert with the oneVillage Initiative approach to human development. This will include building Multipurpose centers as experimental centers designed to integrate best practices into most compelling development approaches.

The core theme for OVI is Holistic ICT for EcoLiving. The concept combines current ICT for Development (ICT4D) approaches with sustainable development strategies. The framework and strategies have been designed to devise ways to involve people from around the globe in mutually supportive networks.

The Initiative has two main components: the ICT augmented support network and the ICT augmented field Agent team.

OVI goals include:

Formation of 'dignified digital communities' empowered by a platform called ICT (Information Communication Technology);

Accumulation and exchange of knowledge to uphold and reflect the highest version of each individual's growth.

Trust Leads to Unity; together they Create Prosperity
It takes each heart, in unity, to care for our children and their children. It will take the people of the world, working together, to restore the human heritage of community, love, and meaning. The efforts of many working in harmony realize much greater short and long-term gains than the efforts of many working disparately. As the community's individual and collective vitality is restored, people can and naturally do begin to address their most pressing needs, discussing them, identifying solutions, and working together to build on what already exists. It will take the people of the world, working together, to restore the human heritage of community, love, and meaning.
